The Audrey Roseland-Scott Photograph Collection consists of a mix of original and copy prints documenting her early career in music and entertainment in the Fargo, N.D. area. The copy prints were made from photographs in photograph albums she retained. In addition, researchers should consult her scrapbooks in the Frank and Audrey Scott Papers (Mss 195, Box 15 & 16) which contain additional images. Abstract
Frank and Audrey Scott were Fargo, North Dakota natives. He arranged and wrote music for television shows including the Lawerence Welk Show, and later had his own band at Palm Desert, California. Audrey Remme Scott was a singer and entertainer. A recent accesion includes all his arrangements for his own band.

The Frank Scott Photograph Collection was organized into four series: Frank Scott, WDAY Radio, Frank Scott’s bands, and Subject files. The images span from his youth in Fargo, N.D. and at WDAY Radio to his bands that performed in California and his association with Lawrence Welk. The collection consists of 91 images, both color and gelatin silver, 8 x 10 inches and smaller. The Frank and Audrey Scott papers have been processed as Mss 195.
